
Strudel
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. A recipe for delicious filled pastry. German cuisine. The key is to not cut the apples too large and carefully stretch the dough by hand from the edges. The pastry is ready. Serve at the table.

After mixing all the ingredients (for the dough) together, knead the dough by hand for several minutes.

Peel the apples and cut them into small cubes. Mix the ingredients for the apple filling and let it stand until the dough is ready. Drain the juice before using the filling for the dough.

The dough should rest for an hour. Sprinkle the work surface with flour, divide the dough into 2 parts and roll out thin flatbreads.

Stretch the dough by hand.

Place the filling on the dough.

Brush the edges of the dough without filling with melted butter.

Carefully roll up the strudel with the filling inside, using a towel or parchment paper on which you have previously placed the strudel (before adding the filling).

Transfer the strudel to a baking sheet.

Place the roll in the oven and bake for one and a half hours at 170 degrees, or until golden brown. Sprinkle the finished strudel with powdered sugar.
