Bacon shots
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. The amount of ingredients is calculated for 12 tubes; since I only have 4, I baked them in three batches. This yielded 3 small portions. The ideal pasta choice is small elbow macaroni made from durum wheat—they're small and easily fit into the bacon shots. Give it a try! The finished dish can now be served.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients and 12 molds. You can make them using large pasta tubes (cannelloni) wrapped in foil. Alternatively, you can use metal molds (for croissants).
- 2
Step 2

Each roll will require 2 pieces of bacon. Cut one piece in half, leave the other one whole. Place a piece of bacon as shown in the photo to form the base.
- 3
Step 3

Now wrap the roll with the second half of the bacon strip and another whole piece of bacon.
- 4
Step 4

Place the bacon rolls on parchment paper and bake at 180-200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

Boil the pasta in salted water. Toss with butter or lard.
- 6
Step 6

Add half a cup of cheese to the hot pasta and mix until the cheese melts.
- 7
Step 7

Remove the ready bacon shots from the metal tubes.
- 8
Step 8

Fill the resulting cups with macaroni.
- 9
Step 9

On top, place a generous heap of cheese. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 200 degrees.
