Description

The recipe won't take much time. Originally, the preparation of cock-a-leekie included two different dishes: in regular times in Scotland, this name referred to a popular soup (since "cock-a-leekie" literally means "leek and chicken"), while at Christmas it was customary to prepare a festive pie with the same name. Nowadays, our home gourmets can hardly be surprised by a leek soup, but such an original and flavorful pie will surely be a hit with everyone! So give it a try—you now know how to make cock-a-leekie. Serve hot.
