Description

The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. For two servings of this delicious dessert, you will need no more than 200-300 grams of chocolate sponge cake. But if you have a larger family, bake a chocolate sponge cake in advance using one of the recipes on the site, then let it cool—it will yield at least 6 dessert servings. The finished dessert can now be served.

    Prepare the listed ingredients. You can use any syrup—it is needed to soak the sponge cake. You can also make any type of cream.

    In a cauldron or saucepan with a non-stick bottom, add wheat flour and granulated sugar. You can add any flavoring to taste: citrus, vanilla, etc. At this stage, you can also mix in cocoa powder along with the flour if you want to make a chocolate cream.

    Pour in the cold milk and thoroughly whisk the entire liquid in the container. Use only cold milk, as flour will form lumps if mixed with hot milk.

    Place the container on the stove over medium heat and cook the custard until thickened, about 6-8 minutes. Then add butter and stir until smooth. Chill for about 20-25 minutes in the refrigerator.
