Chocolate Potluck Cake

Description
The recipe won't take much time. In a saucepan, combine butter, water, and cocoa, and bring to a boil; whisk until smooth. Cool to room temperature. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Add the cocoa mixture; beat at low speed until combined. Add sour cream, eggs, and baking soda; mix until smooth. Pour into a greased baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 35–40 minutes. Cool. For the frosting, beat butter in a bowl. Combine powdered sugar and cocoa, then gradually add to the butter. Beat in vanilla and milk until spreadable consistency is reached. Pour frosting over the cake. Sprinkle with nuts. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
