Chocolate picnic cake

This recipe won't take much time. A picnic chocolate cake recipe. This is a great cake that can be easily wrapped in a package without damaging it, perfect to take along for lunch or an outdoor trip. Preparation time: 50 minutes Instructions: 1) Melt the chocolate in a microwave or in a heavy saucepan over low heat, then let it cool for 10 minutes. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside. In another bowl, beat egg with granulated sugar and vegetable oil. Add the dry ingredients to the melted chocolate and mix until smooth and well combined. 2) Pour the batter into a greased round baking pan. Sprinkle chocolate pieces on top and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 32–38 minutes. Cool on a wire rack for 10–15 minutes. Store in the refrigerator. Serve chilled.
