Chocolate cake with kefir
Description
Delicious baked treat for the whole family. This kefir-based chocolate cake "Fantastika" turns out incredibly tasty and hearty when made at home. For the frosting, use sour cream (whip sour cream with sugar and butter). Finally, sprinkle the cake with nuts and let it sit for about 2-3 hours. The dessert is ready. Serve it at the table.

Step 1

1. The dough for this cake is very easy to prepare: in one bowl, beat together the kefir, vegetable oil, and eggs. In another: sugar, flour, cocoa, and baking soda.

Step 2

2. Then combine the two mixtures and stir. Pour into a mold and place in a preheated oven for 50 minutes (oven temperature 180 degrees). Remove the cake and let it cool, then cut it into portions using a thread or a sharp large knife.

Step 3

3. While the cake layer is baking, prepare the cream. For this cake, a sour cream-whipped cream is delicious: beat the sour cream with sugar and gradually add the butter. Whip until you get a thick, fluffy mixture.

Step 4

4. Spread the cake layers with cream and coat them with nuts on all sides. I usually use walnuts, bake them in the oven for 10 minutes, then crush them with a rolling pin and use them to coat the cake.

Step 5

5. This is what our cake looks like when sliced. After spreading, it takes no more than 3 hours for complete soaking.
