
Chocolate roll with buttercream
Description
The recipe won't take much time. A recipe for preparing a chocolate roll with coffee and a cream made from whipped cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla. The cold sweet cream combined with light chocolate cake makes this dessert incredibly delicious. Serve chilled.

1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Grease a baking sheet with butter or vegetable oil. Line it with a sheet of wax or parchment paper. Melt chopped chocolate with water or coffee in a small saucepan over very low heat, stirring until melted. Remove from heat and stir until smooth. Let cool slightly.

2. Beat the egg yolks in a bowl with a mixer. Gradually add sugar and continue beating. Gently add the chocolate mixture and beat until smooth.

3. In a clean bowl, beat egg whites with salt. Add 1/4 of the egg whites to the chocolate mixture, mix, then add the remaining whites in three batches.

4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface. Bake in a preheated oven for 15 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes, covered with a slightly damp towel.

5. Sift 1 tablespoon of cocoa over the top of the dough and cover with a towel. Flip it over and carefully peel off the parchment paper. Sift the remaining tablespoon of cocoa over the dough.

6. Using a towel, roll the dough into a roll so that the towel ends up inside. Let the dough cool in this position.

7. Whip the cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Carefully unroll the chocolate roll and remove the towel.

8. Evenly spread the dough with the butter cream. Roll it up again and place it on a serving dish, seam side down. Slice the roll into thick pieces, about 2.5 cm, and serve immediately. The roll is best consumed on the first day.
