Description
To check if the baked goods are ready, serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

To make coconut-cottage cheese balls, mix cottage cheese, 50 grams of sugar, half of the starch, and coconut flakes in a deep container. Separate two egg yolks from the whites and add the yolks to the other ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
- 2
Step 2

Grease a baking pan with oil or line it with parchment paper. With your hands, roll the mixture into evenly sized cottage cheese and coconut balls. Place them onto the parchment paper as evenly spaced as possible.

Step 3

Now it's time for the batter. In a bowl, beat four chicken egg yolks, which should be separated from the whites beforehand, with sugar and vanilla. Add melted chocolate, the remaining starch, sifted flour, baking powder, and cocoa. Mix everything thoroughly.

Step 4

Beat the egg whites, which remain after separating them from the yolks, into a stiff foam using a mixer. To make this easier, add a pinch of salt. The egg whites must be chilled before beating.
- 5
Step 5

Gently add the beaten egg whites to the batter in portions. Mix the batter until smooth.

Step 6

Pour the resulting batter over the cottage cheese balls in a springform pan. Place the cake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees and bake for 40 minutes. Let the cake cool and dust with powdered sugar.
