Chocolate Espresso Cake
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Prepare the pie. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Grease a pie pan and line it with parchment paper. Melt the butter and chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of boiling water. Using a mixer, beat egg yolks with 1/2 cup sugar for about 3 minutes. Add espresso and salt, beat for 1 minute. Add vanilla and chocolate mixture, beat for another minute. In a clean bowl, beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add the remaining 1/2 cup sugar. Add the chocolate mixture in three batches. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Let cool completely in the pan. Remove the pie from the pan. Prepare the glaze. Place chocolate, butter, and vanilla in a bowl and mix. Bring the remaining ingredients to a boil, stirring, then add the chocolate mixture. Beat until smooth. Pour the glaze over the pie. The finished dessert is ready to serve.
