
Chocolate cobbler
Description
Cobbler is a quick pie made with a liquid batter that bakes into a soft texture. Usually, cobbler is prepared with berries or fruits, with the filling placed at the bottom and the batter poured on top. Serve cobbler warm or chilled, ideally with scoops of ice cream and a sweet sauce. Perfect with tea.

1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, salt, 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder, and 3/4 cup of white sugar.

2. Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the flour mixture. Mix until smooth.

3. Pour the prepared batter mixture into a mold, preferably oval. In a separate medium bowl, mix the remaining white sugar (1/2 cup), brown sugar, and the remaining 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder. Evenly sprinkle this mixture over the surface of the batter.

4. Pour hot water over the top. Do not stir!

5. Bake in a preheated oven for 40 minutes. Let cool in the pan for a few minutes. Serve the cobbler with scoops of ice cream or syrup.
