Chocolate Cake
Description
The recipe won't take much time. If desired, you can dust the cake with powdered sugar. It goes well with whipped cream and fresh berries. Serve chilled.

1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Lightly grease and flour a loaf pan. You can also use cooking spray. In a large bowl, beat butter with a mixer on medium speed until creamy. Add sugar and beat for about 3 minutes. Add egg and beat, then mix in vanilla extract and buttermilk. Don't worry if the batter looks slightly uneven. Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together into the butter mixture.

2. Stir with a spoon until smooth, but do not overmix. Make sure all ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the batter. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

3. Bake for 60-70 minutes, until a knife inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 10 to 15 minutes, then remove from the pan and let cool completely.
