Chocolate Hearts

Description
The recipe won't take much time. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Grease a cake pan with butter. In a bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, and chocolate. Microwave for 1 minute, then stir. If the chocolate hasn't softened, continue microwaving in 10-second intervals until the chocolate is completely melted. Beat eggs and vanilla into the melted chocolate mixture with a wooden spoon. Add flour and salt. Pour into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool. Turn the cake out onto a work surface. Cut out heart shapes. Optionally dust with cocoa powder, powdered sugar, or confectioners' sugar. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
