Chocolate croissants with coconut filling

Description

Delicious baked treats for the whole family. Making chocolate croissants won't take much time or effort. You can dust them with powdered sugar, but I prefer leaving them as they are. They look very appetizing and unique. It's something new, as I usually bake croissants with jam or condensed milk.

    1. In a bowl, mix wheat flour with room-temperature butter, sour cream, baking soda, granulated sugar, and egg yolks. Knead the dough and divide it into 2 parts. Add cocoa to one part and coconut flakes to the other, then knead each part separately.

    2. I roll out both types of dough very thinly—the thinner, the better. Then I transfer the sheet of white dough onto the brown one and place it on top, trimming the edges so they are roughly even.

    3. Cut the dough into triangles, like pizza slices, and roll them up starting from the wider edge.

    4. I line the baking sheet with parchment paper, place the crescent rolls on it, and put them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

    5. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate and mix it with the cream. Remove the croissants from the oven and, while still hot, brush them with the prepared mixture.
