Chocolate candies
Description
For chocolate candies, you only need three ingredients: dates, granola, and dark chocolate. As for how to decorate these candies, let your imagination run wild. I suggest options like dipping them in chocolate glaze, melted chocolate, rolling in ground nuts or crushed cookies, sesame seeds, coconut flakes, cocoa powder, or drizzling with a white chocolate lattice. Any option will work well. Choose your favorite granola—I used one with forest berries.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients. Let's get started!
- 2
Step 2

Wash the dates, drain in a colander, and remove the pits. Place in the grinder bowl.
- 3
Step 3

Add granola to the dates. Process the mixture for 5-7 minutes.
- 4
Step 4

Add the melted dark chocolate by placing the chocolate in the microwave for 1-2 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

Turn on the grinder for a few more minutes. A thick, sticky mass will form.
- 6
Step 6

Roll the candies into balls by hand; they shape very easily and hardly stick to your hands. Each candy should weigh 15 grams. Place them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes—during this time, the candies will become even denser.
- 7
Step 7

For the glaze, melt the butter with a tablespoon of water. Bring to a boil, add the glaze powder, and mix.
- 8
Step 8

As soon as it begins to boil, remove from heat. Let the icing cool.
- 9
Step 9

Line a board with foil, dip each candy into the glaze, and place them on the foil. Refrigerate for another 30 minutes.
- 10
Step 10

Decorate the finished candies as desired. They are already ready to eat, but I sprinkled them lightly with dark cocoa powder.
- 11
Step 11

Done.

Step 12

Can be served.
