
Chocolate Cinnamon Rolls in Glaze

1. Prepare the filling. Combine all dry ingredients in a small bowl. Add the melted butter and mix with a fork until the mixture resembles wet sand. Set aside.

2. Make the dough. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Grease the baking dish with 1 tablespoon of melted butter. In a medium bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add milk and 2 tablespoons of butter and stir. Place the dough onto a floured work surface and knead until smooth.

3. Roll out the dough into a 20x30 cm rectangle. Pour 2 tablespoons of melted butter over the dough and spread it evenly with your fingers. Place the filling on top, leaving a 1 cm border around the edges. Sprinkle with chopped chocolate chips.

4. Roll the dough into a log. Place the log seam-side down on the work surface. Cut into 8 pieces.

5. Gently press each piece from the top and place into a baking dish. Brush with the remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.

6. To make the glaze, beat cream cheese or butter with powdered sugar in a bowl. Add buttermilk and beat until the mixture is smooth. Let the rolls cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack and drizzle with glaze.
