Chocolate-Nut Tart
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. For the tart, use one type of nuts or a mixture. It's best to use chocolate with at least 70% cocoa content for a rich, intensely chocolate flavor. The shortcrust base can be made from plain dough, or you can add cocoa to it. Serve the tart only after it has cooled completely. It can be served with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Mix the flour, 40 grams of coconut flakes, and salt. Mix the melted coconut oil and maple syrup. Combine the dry and wet ingredients, knead the dough.
- 2
Step 2
Transfer the dough to a baking pan, spread it with your fingers into an even layer, shaping the edges.
- 3
Step 3
Bake the base in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 12-15 minutes, then cool at room temperature for at least 1 hour.
- 4
Step 4
Break the chocolate into pieces. Heat the coconut milk in a saucepan and pour it over the chocolate, stirring until the chocolate is completely dissolved. Add the vanilla extract.
- 5
Step 5
Toast the nuts and the remaining coconut flakes (preferably coconut flakes).
- 6
Step 6
Pour the chocolate filling into the mold, which has already cooled, add the nuts (you can mix them in, or place them only in the center).
- 7
Step 7
Chill the tart in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set the filling.
