Chocolate-Honey Cake
Description
If you don't have time to wait for the cake layers to soak in the cream in the refrigerator, you can use a little trick. After the layers have cooled following baking, pour a few tablespoons of cream over each one to soften them. If you have leftover crumbs from the layers after baking, don't throw them away—use them to decorate the top layer. The dessert is ready. Serve it at the table.

Step 1

First, prepare the dough. To do this, mix milk, cocoa, honey, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and butter. Place the container with these ingredients over a water bath and stir constantly. You need to obtain a smooth mixture. Add flour and baking soda to this mixture, then knead the dough.

Step 2

Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Then divide it into six parts and roll each to a thickness of 2 millimeters. Bake all six layers. Bake them in the oven at 180 degrees for eight minutes each.

Step 3

While the cake layers are baking, prepare the cream by mixing a cup of sugar, sour cream, and prunes. It's most convenient to beat the sour cream with sugar using a blender. Once the layers have cooled, spread them with this cream. Stack the layers on top of each other to form a cake.

Step 4

Melt the chocolate bar in a double boiler and coat the cake with a thin layer of melted chocolate. You can decorate the top with prunes. Place the cake in the refrigerator for 2 hours. This will be enough time for the cake layers to soak up the cream and become soft.
