Chocolate glaze

Description

A very simple recipe that requires no special cooking skills will make any dessert tastier and more aromatic. The ingredient quantities are calculated for 3/4 cup of icing. This is enough to cover either a layered cake or a sheet cake.

   Step 1

   In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate, water, and butter. Place in the microwave for 1 minute.

   Step 2

   Afterwards, stir thoroughly. If necessary, place in the microwave for another 10 seconds until completely melted.

   Step 3

   Add vanilla, sugar, and salt. If a thinner icing is required, add hot water (one tablespoon at a time).
