Chocolate from cocoa powder
Description
The recipe won't take much time. You'll need a fairly thick icing for the cookies—one that doesn't run and holds its shape well. And I'm sharing exactly this recipe with you. The special feature of this icing is that it dries and hardens quickly. When your cookies are ready, you can pack them into cute bags or a box. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
To make chocolate with cocoa, heat water in a saucepan. When it boils, reduce the heat.
- 2
Step 2
In a separate bowl, mix the powdered sugar and sifted cocoa powder. Add this mixture to the boiling water, stirring with a spoon, making sure there are no lumps.
- 3
Step 3
Depending on what you are going to cover with chocolate, add more or less water. For cakes, a thinner glaze is needed, while for cookies, a thicker one is better.
- 4
Step 4
If the icing is too runny, add more powdered sugar; if it's too thick, add a bit more water.
