
Veal schnitzel
Description

Cut the meat into pieces about 2 cm thick. Then, using a meat mallet, pound each piece, but use the flat side, not the side with the spikes. Start pounding from the center and work towards the edges. Season each piece with salt and pepper.

Then take three plates. Put flour on one, breadcrumbs on another, and beat eggs in the third.

Place a frying pan with oil on the stove to heat up. Dip each piece of veal first into the eggs on both sides, then into the flour, and then into the breadcrumbs, and place it in the frying pan.

Sear on both sides over medium heat until a golden crust forms (4-5 minutes per side). Place the cooked pieces onto a plate and cook the remaining ones.

While the schnitzel is cooking, don't forget about the side dish. So, right from the beginning, put the potatoes on the stove to boil for mashed potatoes. When the potatoes are almost cooked, chop some parsley and green onions finely.

Add herbs and milk to the cooked potatoes (remember not to drain all the water—leave a little liquid), season with salt and pepper, and mash until smooth.

Place the mashed potatoes and Wiener schnitzel on a plate. Put a slice of lemon on top of the schnitzel and serve. :)
