Prepare all the ingredients.

Wash the apples and remove the cores. Then finely chop or grate on a coarse grater.

Transfer the chopped apples to a saucepan, add 600 ml of hot water. Cook for 5 minutes. Then add the remaining amount of water at room temperature, stir.

Pour the liquid into a large jar, cover with gauze, and leave for 1 day in a warm place.

Strain the drink, add sugar, then return it to a warm place. Wait until the first signs of fermentation appear.
