
Luxurious quince dessert

Wash the quince thoroughly, peel it, and cut it in half. Place the core, seeds, and peels into a deep frying pan or saucepan.

Place the quince halves cut-side up, and add sugar, cinnamon, and cloves inside.

Combine the water with the juice of ½ lemon and the remaining sugar. Pour over the fruit halves.

Bring the syrup to a boil, cover with a lid, and simmer the quince over medium heat for 30-40 minutes, until tender.
