
Shepherd's Pie
Description
Baking is prepared simply and quickly. "Shepherd's pie" is made extremely simply, just follow the step-by-step instructions, but you can also let your imagination run wild when it comes to adding ingredients and spices.

Prepare the ingredients.

Peel the potatoes, cut them into large wedges, and boil until tender with a clove of garlic, then salt.

Add a tablespoon of olive oil and a tablespoon of soy sauce to the ground meat, season with pepper, and fry in a pan.

Grate the carrot, slice the onion into half rings, finely chop the bell pepper and celery.

Pour the remaining olive oil and soy sauce into the pan, add the vegetables and simmer for 5–6 minutes, then add about 100 ml of water and simmer covered for another 10 minutes.

Add the sautéed ground meat to the stewed vegetables.

Place the tomatoes on the minced meat and simmer, covered, for 5 minutes.

In a sauté pan or a pot, pour in the cream and milk, add nutmeg and a bay leaf, heat to a boil, then remove the bay leaf.

Mash the potatoes into a puree, pour in the milk‑cream mixture, and stir.

Place canned green peas on the minced meat; if you have fresh peas, that's even better.
