Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients. You can make the sauce to your taste. The combination of vegetables can also vary. You can marinate and prepare the meat in advance, which will significantly reduce your cooking time.
- 2
Step 2

Rinse the chicken breast, pat dry, and cut lengthwise into wide strips. Add lemon juice, salt, and spices to taste. Mix well and let marinate for 20–30 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

Heat a skillet with oil, place the fillets in a single layer, cover with a lid, and cook over medium heat on both sides until done. The chicken breast cooks quite quickly; the key here is not to overcook and dry it out.
- 4
Step 4

Thinly slice the cabbage. Add salt and ground pepper.
- 5
Step 5

Knead well with your hands until the cabbage becomes softer and releases juice.
- 6
Step 6

Add the cucumber cut into strips.
- 7
Step 7

Slice the tomatoes thinly.
- 8
Step 8

Cut the chicken breast into small cubes.
- 9
Step 9

Mix. The filling is ready.
- 10
Step 10

Place the filling on the lavash, closer to one edge.
- 11
Step 11

Drizzle with your favorite sauce, adjusting the amount to your taste. Tuck in the edges and roll them up. Place the rolls onto a preheated grill pan.
- 12
Step 12

Press with a weight on top and fry on both sides until cooked through. You can use a regular frying pan or bake the shawarma in the oven.
- 13
Step 13

The shawarma is ready.
