Open the can of sardines, drain the oil, and place the contents into a bowl. Mash the fish with a fork.
- 2
Step 2

Now shred the cabbage and also place it in the bowl.

Step 3

We clean and wash the remaining vegetables, grate the carrots on a coarse grater, chop the onion into small cubes, and cut the pepper into strips.
- 4
Step 4

Pour a little vegetable oil into a frying pan and sauté the carrots, onion, and pepper in it, seasoning everything with salt and pepper to taste. When the vegetables have cooled, transfer them to a bowl with the fish and cabbage.

Grate the pickled cucumbers and cheese on a coarse grater and add to the other ingredients.

Mix everything, add salt and ground pepper if necessary.

Step 7

Wash the lettuce leaves, chop them, and add to the filling as well.
- 8
Step 8

Now we need to cut each lavash in half, resulting in a total of 6 portions of shawarma.
- 9
Step 9

For the sauce, mix sour cream with mustard.
- 10
Step 10

Spread the bottom of the lavash with the prepared sauce and place the filling on top.
- 11
Step 11

Now fold the lavash with the filling once, tuck in the sides, and roll it up into a roll.
- 12
Step 12

We do the same with the remaining lavash sheets.
- 13
Step 13

Grease the pan with vegetable oil and fry the shawarma on all sides until golden brown.
- 14
Step 14

You can eat it either hot or cold.
