Shawarma with shrimp
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. I decided to surprise my family and made shawarma with shrimp using a classic recipe. The result was a very unusual dish, and the combination of shrimp with vegetables, sauce, and lavash is truly amazing! You can use any filling for your dish: meat, poultry, cheese, mushrooms, or even seafood, as in our case. Serve the finished dish at the table.

Step 1

1. The base of our shawarma will be shrimp, which need to be boiled first. I always boil them in salted water and add herbs for aroma. Then let them cool down and proceed to prepare the remaining ingredients.

Step 2

2. Slice the tomatoes and cucumbers, wash the salad leaves and pat them dry with a paper towel. It's best to cut the vegetables into thin strips.

Step 3

3. While the shrimp are cooling, prepare the sauce: mix mayonnaise with ketchup, and add ground black pepper to taste. Now spread the sauce on the lavash and layer the filling on top.

Step 4

4. The lavash should be folded into an envelope shape. Shrimp do not need to be cut (if you are using small-sized seafood).
