
Shawarma (healthy eating)
Description
Hardly has shawarma ever been as healthy as it turns out with this recipe! All you need is lavash (preferably spinach-based), fresh vegetables, low-fat cheese, and boiled or baked chicken. You can use leftover chicken from lunch or dinner. Preparing this shawarma will take you just a few minutes, yet it will provide all the necessary vitamins and keep you full.

1. Prepare the sauce. To do this, mix sour cream, tomato paste, and mustard until smooth.

2. Spread the prepared sauce over the lavash sheet.

3. Next, place all the filling, alternating the ingredients: strips of boiled or baked chicken and cucumber, onion and tomato sliced into half-rings, and cheese grated on a coarse grater.

4. Carefully tuck in the edges of the lavash and roll it up into a roll. You can warm it in a grill or eat it as is.
