Shashlik in wine vinegar
Description
To the classic set of ingredients—wine vinegar, onion, salt, pepper—I decided to add soy sauce, which will give the meat a piquant flavor and unique aroma. Note that when using soy sauce, you should add less salt. Be sure to try my recipe.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. For the shashlik, I use pork neck, but you can also use pork shoulder or pork leg.
- 2
Step 2

Rinse the meat and pat it dry with paper towels. Cut the meat into small pieces. I prefer making small pieces for shish kebab, so each piece marinates well and cooks quickly.
- 3
Step 3

Slice the onions into rings and add them to the meat.
- 4
Step 4

Put salt, pepper, wine vinegar, and soy sauce into a bowl.
- 5
Step 5

Thoroughly mash with your hands so that the onion releases its juice and each piece of meat is coated with the marinade.
- 6
Step 6

Cover the bowl with meat with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4-6 hours.

Step 7

You can grill this shashlik either on a grill grate or on skewers. This time I decided to cook it on a grill grate. You can grill the onions together with the meat by simply placing them on the grate, but they should be removed earlier than the meat.

The shashlik is ready!
