Shashlik in red wine
Description
1. To prepare a spicy and very juicy shish kebab in red wine at home, first choose good quality meat. Wash it, pat dry, and cut into portion-sized pieces. 2. Place it into a deep pot. 3. Peel the onions and slice them into medium half-rings. Spread them over the meat. 4. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and add a pinch of sugar. 5. Pour in dry red wine and mix thoroughly. If desired, you can add various spices to the shish kebab recipe in red wine: ground garlic, paprika, dried herbs, etc. 6. Then simply cover the container with a lid or place a small weight on top. Put the meat in the refrigerator. 7. The meat should marinate for at least 5–6 hours, but it's best to leave it overnight. 8. Once the meat has thoroughly absorbed the marinade, thread it onto skewers and grill over fire. During cooking, be sure to baste the meat with the marinade.
