Afghan-style shashlik
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Here's a delicious and simple Afghan-style shashlik. The meat isn't marinated at all, yet it doesn't become any worse for it. Of course, you need young, fatty lamb. I use high-quality fruit vinegar, which should be diluted enough so that you can dip a piece of bread into it and comfortably eat it! Good luck, and serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Cut the lamb into small pieces.
- 2
Step 2

Add water and spices—coriander, cloves, pepper, dill—to the vinegar.
- 3
Step 3

Thread the meat onto skewers and season with salt.
- 4
Step 4

Brush the meat with vinegar using a brush and grill over coals, turning and brushing with vinegar again.
- 5
Step 5

Constant basting will prevent the meat from drying out.
- 6
Step 6

Warm the bun on the grill, place onion and herbs inside, and sprinkle with vinegar.
- 7
Step 7

Put a piece of shashlik inside the flatbread (remove the skewer stick itself).
