Shashlik
Description
The recipe won't take much time. For the marinade, you can use either brine or pickle marinade. In the first case, it's better to fry after 8 hours. If you're using marinade, 4 hours is quite enough. Brine contains a lot of salt, so whether or not to add more salt will be decided by you before frying. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Prepare the meat. Wash and dry it. Cut into pieces the size of a matchbox. Transfer to a bowl. Add minced garlic, black pepper, and paprika. Mix everything together.
- 3
Step 3

Grate the onion on a coarse grater and add it to the bowl with the meat. Mix well.
- 4
Step 4

Pour in the brine. Press the meat with your hands. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4-8 hours.
- 5
Step 5

After the specified time, thread the meat onto skewers. Let it sit at room temperature until ready to grill.
- 6
Step 6

Prepare the grill with coals. Once they turn "ashy," place the skewers on the grill and sear, turning occasionally. In my case, 20 minutes was sufficient.

Serve the ready-made shashlik hot.

Step 8

Serve at the table.
