Pork shashlik in soy sauce
Description
Soy sauce is a unique marinade. It penetrates meat so quickly that you can start grilling it in just about 30 minutes, making it an excellent option when you don't have time for pre-marinating. I deliberately didn't include salt in this recipe, because soy sauce is usually quite salty and provides enough salt on its own. However, it all depends on the soy sauce used! This time I tried a new brand, which turned out to be very salty—150 ml for 1 kg of meat was too much, making the shashlik slightly over-salted. Some soy sauces contain less salt, in which case you'll need to add extra salt to the meat.
