Turkey kebab in mayonnaise
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Pay attention to the quality of mayonnaise when marinating the turkey. It should be the highest fat content. Also, do not use too much mayonnaise. The meat should be coated with marinade, but not "swimming" in it. Serve the finished shish kebab with a mayonnaise sauce with herbs and a vegetable salad. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Wash the turkey and dry it with paper towels. Cut into pieces the size of a matchbox or slightly smaller.
- 3
Step 3

Peel the onion. Blend in a blender into a paste or grind through a meat grinder.
- 4
Step 4

Place the chopped onion and dill into the bowl with the prepared turkey.
- 5
Step 5

Add mayonnaise and black pepper. Mix well; the marinade should coat the meat, but the meat should not be submerged in the marinade. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 8 hours.
- 6
Step 6

After the specified time, remove the turkey from the bowl. If necessary, season the meat with salt. Mix well and let it sit for another 30 minutes. During this time, prepare the barbecue grill.
- 7
Step 7

Once the coals turn "ashy gray," skewer the meat and start grilling. Flip the meat as soon as it sears. Grill until a golden-brown crust forms, for about 25–30 minutes. Keep in mind the intensity of the coal heat!
- 8
Step 8

As soon as the shashlik is evenly browned, remove it from the heat.
- 9
Step 9

Serve the ready-made shashlik hot with your favorite sauces and vegetable salads.
