Chicken kebabs with honey and vegetables
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. In this recipe, you can emphasize either the meat or the vegetables. Depending on your choice, the ingredient list will vary accordingly. I went with the first option, using more meat than vegetables—it's hearty and delicious. But if you love roasted vegetables just as much, feel free to double the amount of onion and pepper. In that case, thread the vegetables onto the skewers first, placing the meat in between. I also recommend using two different colors of sweet peppers to make the shish kebab even more vibrant. Serve the finished dish immediately.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients. Peel the onion and garlic, wash the meat and bell pepper. You will also need small metal or bamboo skewers for the kebabs. If using bamboo skewers, soak them in cold water for at least one hour before cooking.

Step 2

Cut the chicken fillet into pieces about 3 by 3 cm in size using a sharp knife.
- 3
Step 3

Add honey, soy sauce, ground black pepper, and garlic to the chicken fillet. Mix well.

Step 4

Pour in the vegetable oil and mix thoroughly once again. Cover the container with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour to marinate.

Step 5

Remove seeds from sweet peppers and rinse the insides with cold water. Cut the onion and peppers into pieces about 3 cm (each side).

Step 6

Thread the meat and vegetables onto bamboo skewers, alternating them. Place them on a non-stick baking sheet; I recommend lining it with foil or parchment paper. Bake the kebabs for 20 minutes at 220 degrees Celsius. The oven should be thoroughly preheated.
