Description

The charlotte turns out airy and moderately sweet. So it doesn't taste overly eggy, you need to beat the mixture for at least 10 minutes, until thick and airy. You don't have to arrange the fruit on top—you can submerge them fully in the batter. Serve warm or chilled. Ideal with tea.
