
Sharlotka with one egg
Description
The baking comes together easily and quickly. You can make a one-egg Sharlotka not only with apples. Any seasonal fruit works well for the filling. I stated the ingredient amounts for an 18 cm diameter tin; for a larger tin, scale the ingredients proportionally. The pie is very tasty and fragrant—you can even make it when unexpected guests turn up. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Prepare all the ingredients.

In a deep bowl, combine the egg, sugar, salt, and sour cream.

Whisk.

Add flour, baking soda and vanillin.

Mix everything until homogeneous.

Slice the apples into wedges (if the peel is tough, it’s better to peel them) and place them in a greased baking dish. I also dust the dish with semolina.

Pour the dough (or batter) on top and bake the pie in the oven at 200 degrees for about 25–30 minutes.
