Smetana-filled shan'ga
Description
Homemade pastries for tea. I offer you a recipe from Siberian cuisine, passed down to us from our grandmothers or even great-grandmothers. Shan'ghi are very easy to prepare and turn out juicy and nourishing. They are served with honey, jam, fruit preserves, or marmalade. The distinctive feature of this dish is its filling, which isn't hidden inside but spread thinly on top. Serve with tea or coffee.
