Mushrooms
Description
The appetizer is prepared quickly and easily. Medium-sized mushrooms work best for this recipe; they should be very fresh and firm. If desired, you can make the sauce half and half with mayonnaise—it will be even tastier, though also higher in calories. You can also add soy sauce to the sauce instead of salt. Serve the appetizer.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients. Wash the mushrooms and herbs and pat dry.
- 2
Step 2

Slice the mushrooms into fairly thick slices, transfer them to a deep bowl, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and drizzle with soy sauce. Toss the mushrooms and set aside for about 10 minutes; during this time they will release liquid, which should be drained off.
- 3
Step 3

Coat all mushroom slices in flour.
- 4
Step 4

Sauté the mushrooms in a small amount of vegetable oil until golden brown.
- 5
Step 5

Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. In a deep small bowl, put medium-fat sour cream, add chopped dill, salt and pepper to taste, and minced garlic. Mix the sauce thoroughly.

Step 6

Place the sauce in the center of a flat plate, arrange the fried mushrooms around it, and serve immediately.
