Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Shakhlet is a Tajik version of stuffed cabbage rolls, although they are quite different from our traditional ones since they are made without cabbage and resemble meatballs more than anything else. It's a very simple, filling, and extremely tasty dish. Come on in—I'll show you how to make it. The finished dish is ready to be served.

Cut the meat, peel and chop the onion and garlic.

Pass everything through a meat grinder.

Add the washed and scalded rice.

Mix everything well. Don't forget to salt and pepper. Place small patties made from the prepared mixture onto a layer of fat or thin slices of bacon.
