Description

Light vegetable sandwiches — what could be better than this simple appetizer? In just a few minutes, you'll have golden grilled slices of fragrant bread with a juicy filling of tomatoes, pesto sauce, cheese, and olives. Instead of ciabatta, you can use your favorite bread.

    1. Preheat an open or covered grill to medium heat. Pat the olives dry and finely chop them to yield 1 tablespoon. Slice the ciabatta bread (or your favorite bread) into pieces about 1 cm thick.
