Meatball Sandwich
Description
A tasty appetizer for any gathering. For sandwiches, you can use store-bought hot dog buns or bake them yourself at home. After the oven, the buns become crispy and very tasty; combined with meatballs and vegetables, you get an excellent snack. Serve with greens and sauce.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients. Let's get started!
- 2
Step 2

Peel the onion and garlic and finely chop them with a sharp knife. Sauté in a tablespoon of oil with a pinch of salt until soft.
- 3
Step 3

Add fried onions, breadcrumbs, milk, salt, and spices to the ground meat.
- 4
Step 4

Mix the ground meat well. Let it rest for a bit.
- 5
Step 5

Form the meat balls to the size of a walnut and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

Heat the vegetable oil and fry the meatballs on all sides until cooked through, about 10 minutes.
- 7
Step 7

While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the salsa. To do this, dice the tomato and red onion, and finely chop the parsley. Mix the vegetables and dress with vinegar and a pinch of sugar.
- 8
Step 8

Cut the buns in half lengthwise. My buns were very long, so I decided to cut them in half again, but that's optional. Set the oven to "Grill" mode, place the buns on the rack, and let them brown.
- 9
Step 9

Top the buns with meatballs and pieces of cheese, then bake in the oven until the cheese melts.
- 10
Step 10

Place a tablespoon of salsa on top of each hot sandwich and serve immediately. Enjoy!
