Turkey sandwich
Description
Perfect for the table and with drinks. Sometimes the sandwiches we’re used to get a little boring. I suggest a wonderful alternative: a homemade turkey sandwich. You can eat it in the morning or at lunch, or take it with you to school or work. Even discerning gourmets will appreciate the unusual combination of turkey and sauce. Try using cranberry sauce instead of ordinary ketchup or mayonnaise—it’s what will complement the flavor of this refined meat. Can be served warm or chilled.

Step 1

1. This sandwich is a good alternative to hot sandwiches in the morning. Moreover, turkey is considered lean meat, so you can confidently enjoy this sandwich after lunch as well. First, prepare all the necessary ingredients. Rinse the turkey, pat it dry, and cut it into serving-size pieces. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then drizzle with olive oil if you like.

Step 2

2. Fry the meat until golden brown and set it aside to cool. Now you can start “assembling” the sandwich. You can use any bread, though square-shaped works best. Sandwich rolls work too. I used dark scalded bread. Do everything in order. Wash the lettuce and pat it dry with paper towels. Place it as the first layer on the bread, then spread ketchup or cranberry sauce on top. Add the turkey on the lettuce and drizzle with sauce to taste. Top with hard cheese and cover with bread.

Step 3

3. If desired, you can cut the sandwich in half. This makes it easier to eat. You can also optionally add parsley or onion to the sandwich.

Step 4

4. This is what the sandwiches look like. You can choose absolutely any filling for them!
