
Smoked Salmon Sandwich Roll
Description
The recipe won't take much time. A colorful sandwich-style roll can be prepared in 5–10 minutes if you already have cooked rice. The dish is perfect for a gathering of friends, since you can prepare one individually for each of them. Don't forget to serve soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.

Prepare the listed ingredients. Purchase parboiled, round-grain rice.

Rinse the rice in water and boil it in a wok or saucepan with a non-stick bottom for about 12–15 minutes. Then mix the sugar, salt, and rice vinegar, pour the mixture into the rice, and stir. Leave to cool, lightly covering the container with a lid.

Place the nori sheet smooth side down. Put the cooked rice in the center in a square shape and flatten it.

Spread cream cheese on the rice. Rinse the lettuce leaves and place them on top. Place slices of smoked salmon on half of the rice layer.

Fold into a triangle and moisten the edges of the nori, seal them so the filling ends up inside. Cut the sandwich roll in half and serve with pickled ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi.
