Baked salmon with broccoli
Description
The dish is prepared without any unnecessary complications. I absolutely love meals that take no more than 20–30 minutes to make. The thing is, I'm a pretty busy person, and elaborate dishes that require long cooking times I can only afford to prepare on Sundays... But I still need to eat every day. That's why baked salmon with broccoli is one of my favorite weekday dinners. If there's a piece of salmon and some broccoli in the fridge, then in just 20 minutes you can make a complete meal—very healthy and nutritious, by the way, since both salmon and broccoli are highly nutritious foods. Of course, this isn't the healthiest dish in the world, but it certainly won't harm your health and will supply your body with essential nutrients. So, here's the recipe for baked salmon with broccoli: 1. Wash the broccoli, cut off the tough stem, and separate the rest into florets. Season the salmon fillet with salt and pepper to taste. Optionally, you can lightly drizzle it with soy sauce or lemon juice (though this is not necessary). 2. Take a baking sheet and brush it with olive oil. Place the salmon fillet on it and arrange the broccoli florets alongside. Season everything once more with salt and pepper. 3. Put it in an oven preheated to 200°C (390°F) and bake for about 10–15 minutes. After 10 minutes, start checking to make sure nothing burns. That's it—simple as that. If you'd like, you can also cook some rice, and your complete meal will be ready. Good luck! The dish is now ready to be served.
