Salmon in creamy sauce

Salmon with creamy sauce is not only very delicious, but also quite romantic

Wash the salmon fillet, cut it into portion pieces, and place in a baking dish together with bay leaf and pepper.

Pour the broth over the fish.

Cover the baking dish with foil and place in the oven (200 degrees) for 15 minutes.

While the fish is baking in the oven, let's prepare the sauce. Pour a little fish broth and cream into a saucepan, add capers and finely chopped herbs. In a separate small bowl, mix cornstarch with milk, then add this mixture to the saucepan as well. Stir everything together.

Simmer the sauce over low heat until thickened.

Serve the fish, drizzled with the creamy sauce, with your favorite side dish and, preferably, chilled dry white wine.
