Salmon with cheese topping

Description

Salmon is a very tasty and healthy fish. Cooking dishes from it is very easy. Let me suggest making it a bit more interesting by preparing a delicious salmon dish with cheese and a few additional ingredients. I'll show you how to make salmon with cheese—but not just plain cheese, but with a layer of spinach in between. If you don't like spinach, simply skip this step. And as a bonus, we'll make a delicious sauce to go with the fish. Ready? Let's get started. 1. Wash the salmon and cut it into 2 fillets. If you already have fillets, just cut them in half. Mix two pinches of salt and ground pepper, then rub the mixture onto the fish. Let it sit for about 15 minutes to marinate. 2. Wash the spinach and finely chop it. Peel the garlic and mince it very finely. Cut the bacon into small cubes. Grate the cheese. 3. Fry the bacon in vegetable oil, then remove it from the pan. In the remaining oil, lightly sauté the garlic, then add the chopped spinach and gently cook until soft. Add salt to taste. 4. Sear the salmon on a preheated grill pan for 3–4 minutes on each side. 5. Place the seared salmon into a greased baking dish. Spread the spinach over the fish, then top with the grated cheese and fried bacon pieces. 6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 15 minutes. That'll be just enough time to prepare the sauce :) 7. Actually, the fish is already ready to serve, but I'd like to suggest making this delicious sauce. In a small saucepan or skillet, reduce wine together with lemon juice until the liquid has halved. Add the cream, a pinch of salt, and butter. Lower the heat to minimum and whisk vigorously with a fork for about 3 minutes, until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. Pour this sauce over the fish and enjoy! :)
