Quick Herring
Description
The appetizer is quick and easy to prepare. I recommend marinating the herring overnight. It's convenient: prepare everything in the evening — and let it sit overnight. The herring is piquant and very tender! In my opinion, it's an indispensable appetizer for both everyday meals and festive gatherings. I recommend it. Serve the appetizer at the table.

Add the onion to the herring, pour in vegetable oil, and mix. Cover the bowl and place it in a cool place for several hours (ideally overnight). While the herring is marinating, stir it several times.
