
Rich croissants
Description
It pairs perfectly with tea and coffee. To quickly make the dough, you can leave this process to the machine. As for the filling, you can experiment endlessly—condensed milk, chocolate, nuts, candied fruit and dried fruit, thick jam or fruit preserve. In addition, before serving, the sweet crescent rolls can be topped with powdered sugar or icing.

Prepare the ingredients. For the filling I will use a thick apricot and orange jam.

For making the dough in the bread machine, place the liquid ingredients – milk, melted butter, egg – in the bottom of the pan.

Add salt, sugar, flour, and yeast. Let the dough knead.

Let the prepared dough rest for 40 minutes.

After that, divide the dough in half. Roll each piece into a thin sheet.

Cut the dough into triangles.

Place the filling on the edge.

Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush with beaten egg yolk and place in an oven preheated to 180 °C.
