Sweet yeast buns with apples
Description
The recipe won’t take much time. For sweet yeast dough to turn out well, you need good fresh yeast. For beginner cooks I give a detailed description of how to make apple-filled buns. Good luck. You can serve them with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients for making pirozhki.
- 2
Step 2

Crumble the yeast into a bowl and pour in warm milk.
- 3
Step 3

Pour in the melted butter.
- 4
Step 4

Add the egg, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt.
- 5
Step 5

Gradually add the sifted flour.
- 6
Step 6

Knead a soft dough that doesn’t stick to your hands or the work surface. Cover with plastic wrap and place in a warm spot.
- 7
Step 7

While the dough is rising, prepare the filling for the pies. Wash the apples, peel them, remove the cores, and chop finely. Place them in a frying pan.
- 8
Step 8

Add a small piece of butter and simmer the apples until soft. If the apples are sour, you can add sugar, but mine were very sweet.
- 9
Step 9

After an hour to an hour and a half, the dough will increase in volume by 2-3 times.
- 10
Step 10

Remove the dough from the bowl, knead it briefly, and divide it into balls weighing approximately 50–60 grams.
- 11
Step 11

Roll out each ball into a flatbread. Place the apples on it.
- 12
Step 12

Shape the filled flatbread into a pastry.
- 13
Step 13

Place the pastries seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- 14
Step 14

Then brush with egg and put in the oven.
- 15
Step 15

Bake the pastries in the oven preheated to 185–190 °C for 30–35 minutes.
- 16
Step 16

The sweet yeast apple pastries are ready. You can invite everyone for tea.
